Are you seeing an electrophysiologist, a cardiologist that specializes in heart rhythms?

I HAVE A QUESTION TO ASK U...

I WOKE UP ONE MORNING AND MY HEART WAS RACING I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS BREATHING...MY B/P WAS 188/94 NOW THIS WAS AN AUTOMATIC BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR , SO WHEN THE PARAMEDICS GOT HERE AT MY HOME , MY B/P WAS 140/80... MY HEART WAS 117... THE PARAMEDICS SAID I WAS IN A FIB.....WENT TO THE HOSPITAL, MY QUESTION IS THIS, MY PULSE WAS 120 , 114, 140, 115, I STAYED THERE 3 HOURS AND THEY SENT ME BACK HOME AN ME STILL IN A FIB....... WHY DID THEY DO THIS... THEY HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFOR..THE DR. .DID TELL ME TO TAKE 1/2 METOPROLOL A.M. & P.M. I WAS ONLY TAKING THIS IN THE MORNING...
