yes.. i know a friend that has been diagnosed w/afib....48yrs young,,but the onset is more frequent and she is allergic to quite a few medicines etc........is there any new meds on the horizon...or is she stuck w/the ones shes on now..???? she also has a thyroid problem as well.........if anyone can help me out w/this i would be eternally gratefull..........the docs are given her too many things....increasing the doses then decreasing then changing all together......its rough on her body........and she has no energy after an episode....
I have been taking coumadin for the last 12 year and just about 2 weeks ago my cardiologist discontinued coumadin and put me on Pradaxa. So far so good and I would love to know your feelings about this. I am a healthy 75 year old female and the Afib has been under control for a good time.
